Menu Project
For this assignment, I chose to feature a menu for a restaurant serving Hungarian food. As a Hungarian myself, I hold my culture near and dear to my heart so I wanted to use this assignment as a way to pay tribute to it. My mom's name is Anna-Maria but her friends call her Anna, she is known for her amazing cooking! Ethnic food should celebrate culture, therefore I tried to use fonts and colors that embrace the warmth of Hungarian culture. The graphic I sketched by hand and then transferred over using Illustrator. It is meant to be a red flower similar to those used in Hungarian folk art. The dishes are authentic classic Hungarian meals. This project was a joy as it allowed me to celebrate my culture from an artistic perspective!
